Entrepreneurs, actors, in fact anybody who can afford to sponsor and pay the players own the teams and IPL cricket players are in fact auctioned making it unique among other cricketing events.
The IPL has most certainly helped bring cricket to the forefront of sport once again and at the same time developed a sense of unity and trust among international cricketers who've never played together before.
Now viewed by over a billion individuals world-wide, the IPL cricket league is already among the most awaited events of the year and seventy percent of viewers are said to be from Pakistan and India alone where it's considered more of a religion than a sport.
